Our Wednesday morning “Coffee Break Bible Study” re-started today, after an Advent-Christmas hiatus.
Today we continued our study in 1 Samuel, at 1 Samuel 30 – David’s defeat of the Amalekite raiders and his rescue of the kidnapped wives and children of he and his men.
Next week we will finish with the death of King Saul at the hand of the Philistines, which divides 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel, which picks up with the story of David’s ascent to the throne of Israel after Saul’s demise.
Did you know that the fall 2020 studies in 1 Samuel, beginning with David slaying Goliath (1 Sam 17) can be found archived on our You Tube channel?
